Ubuntu League is a youth-led football, wellness and leadership initiative led by the National Network for Immigrants and Refugees–Canada (NNIR-Canada). This is League for Black African communities in Toronto, inspired by the spirit and legacy of FIFA World Cup 2026.
Registration is open to both teams and individuals. Teams are encouraged to represent African countries or regions and all skill levels are welcome. Whether you have a team, are part of one, or are looking to join a team, we invite you to sign up and be part of this community-rooted celebration of sport, culture and youth leadership.
The league is rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu – “I am because we are”, using football to foster belonging, youth leadership, wellbeing and community connection.
